From November 26, 2020 to December 18, 2020—and again from March 15, 2021 to April 18, 2021—Wyoming’s Jackson Hole is offering 50% off lift tickets for anyone with a valid 2020-21 ski resort season pass from anywhere in the world. Like in previous years, Epic and Ikon passholders—including those with base passes—will be eligible for this deal.

During the early season, these discounted 1-day adult tickets will go between $52-$73. Prices may be lower for other age groups and multi-day purchases. Due to COVID-related capacity restrictions, Jackson Hole will offer limited lift ticket quantities for these days.

Verdict

50% off Jackson Hole’s lift tickets may sound like a pretty good deal, and the discount is better than the 40% rate offered during some previous years. However, many season passes already offer partner days at other resorts at no cost and with no date restrictions. The eligible dates for this promotion are during the early and late seasons, meaning snow quality and terrain availability likely won’t be the same as what one might get during the core season. However, Jackson Hole tends to receive quality snow and offer extensive terrain even early in the winter, meaning the trip may be worth it for some.

The big hurdle this year may be COVID. Due to travel restrictions and social distancing concerns, it might really only make sense for those within driving distance to take advantage of this deal—which pretty much just limits this to Snow King and Grand Targhee passholders. Especially for the less desirable early season, we see passholders to most other mountains skipping the air travel and sticking to their home bases this season.
