A Tour of the Palisades at Palisades Tahoe

A comprehensive video tour of the Palisades chutes at Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley), including the National and Main lines, as well as an unnamed couloir off National. These runs range from expert to truly extreme, and the toughest pitches are among the most dangerous in all of North America.

Filmed in early May 2021; conditions were typical for the end of the core season.

Palisades Tahoe - Olympic Valley is a destination ski resort just west of Lake Tahoe. See our full mountain review here here. Additionally, see our full Tahoe rankings here.
