  • Welcome Dinner & Drinks: Kick off the trip with Hokkaido’s famous miso ramen and an ice-cold Sapporo beer.

  • Nightlife (Optional): Explore Niseko’s cozy yet lively après scene, from the hidden fridge bar Gyu+ to craft cocktails at Bar Moon.

Day 2: Niseko United – Grand Hirafu & Hanazono (February 1st, 2026)

  • Breakfast: Load up on a warm meal—today is about deep powder and unforgettable turns.

  • Skiing/Riding at Grand Hirafu & Hanazono
Niseko is Japan’s most legendary ski destination, and for good reason. With an average snowfall of over 45 feet per season, this is one of the snowiest places on Earth.

    • Grand Hirafu: The beating heart of Niseko, offering long, playful groomers, easily accessible tree skiing, and expansive backcountry access. Powder hounds can hike to the summit for jaw-dropping descents down untouched slopes.

    • Hanazono: A haven for powder skiers, with legendary glades like Strawberry Fields, which deliver deep, consistent snow and perfectly spaced trees for the ultimate powder ride.

  • Optional Lunch: Try Boyo-so’s famous milk ramen or a satisfying rice bowl at Mountain Hut.

  • Afternoon Skiing/Riding: Explore the back bowls for a true big-mountain experience, or stick to Hanazono’s tree runs for more fresh powder.

  • Optional Evening Hot Springs Experience: After a full day of deep turns, soak in Hirafu’s onsen, where geothermal waters soothe tired muscles while snowflakes drift overhead.

Japanese ski runs are legendary.

Day 3: Niseko – Annupuri & Moiwa (February 2nd, 2026)

  • Breakfast: Another hearty meal before diving into more powder.

  • Skiing/Riding at Annupuri & Moiwa: This is where Niseko’s best-kept secrets lie.

    • Annupuri: Known for its wide, perfectly pitched runs and open bowls, this area offers incredible terrain for skiers looking for both powder and smooth carves. With fewer crowds, fresh tracks last longer here.

    • Moiwa: A hidden gem with deep, untouched snow and easily accessible sidecountry lines. Fewer lifts mean fewer people, and this resort often holds powder stashes long after a storm.

  • Optional Lunch: Grab a meal at Annupuri’s cozy mountain lodge or a quick snack at the base.

  • Après at Niseko’s Best Bars – Celebrate a perfect day on the slopes with local beers and sake.

  • Optional Night Onsen Visit: Head to Goshiki Onsen, a rustic hot spring tucked away in the mountains. The natural setting, with its steaming pools surrounded by snow-covered trees, makes for an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Rusutsu – Deep Powder & Tree Runs (February 3rd, 2026)

  • Breakfast & Early Departure: Drive 1 hour to Rusutsu, an under-the-radar powder paradise.

  • Full-Day Skiing/Riding at Rusutsu: Rusutsu may not be as famous as Niseko, but for those in the know, it’s one of Japan’s best tree skiing destinations. With over 46 feet of snowfall annually, the snow is deep, light, and endlessly fun.

    • The natural terrain at Rusutsu is unmatched, featuring rolling hills, playful pillows, and perfectly spaced trees that make for some of the best gladed skiing in Japan.

    • Fewer crowds mean you’ll still find untouched powder lines long after a storm.

  • Optional Lunch: Stop at Steamboat Lodge for a comforting bowl of Japanese curry.

  • Evening Transfer to Kiroro (1.5 hours)

  • Optional Group Dinner – Replenish with shabu-shabu or hotpot.

We will make a stop to visit the Snow Monkeys.

Day 5: Kiroro – Japan’s Deepest Snow (February 4th, 2026)

  • Breakfast: Fresh coffee and a warm meal before another powder-filled day.

  • Skiing/Riding at Kiroro: If Niseko is famous for powder, Kiroro takes it to another level. This resort consistently gets some of Japan’s deepest, driest snow, with light, fluffy powder that stacks up storm after storm.

    • Long, untouched runs: Kiroro sees fewer visitors, meaning the powder stays fresh longer.

    • Expansive sidecountry access: Those willing to venture beyond the ropes will be rewarded with bottomless turns in wide, open bowls.

  • Evening Transfer to Noboribetsu (2.5 hours) – Japan’s Famous Hot Spring Town

  • Optional Soak in Jigokudani Onsen – Noboribetsu is home to some of Japan’s most famous onsens. Relax in mineral-rich waters, surrounded by steaming volcanic landscapes after an incredible ski day.

  • Optional Kaiseki Dinner at the Ryokan – A multi-course feast featuring Hokkaido’s best seafood and seasonal delicacies.

Day 6: Snow Monkeys & Furano – Bluebird Powder & Views (February 5th, 2026)

  • Breakfast & Check-Out: Depart early for an unforgettable wildlife experience.

  • Transfer to Furano (2.5 hours)

  • Afternoon Skiing/Riding at Furano: Furano is where powder meets stunning alpine scenery. Unlike the other resorts, Furano offers more bluebird days, meaning clear skies, panoramic views, and perfect light for capturing your best ski shots.

    • Fast, rolling groomers: Perfect for carving at high speeds.

    • Hidden powder pockets: Even days after a storm, stashes remain untouched.

    • Fewer crowds: Get more runs and fresher lines all day long.

  • 🍻Farewell Dinner & Sake Tasting: Celebrate the trip with one last amazing meal and a sampling of Hokkaido’s finest sake.

Day 9: Ski Happo-One (February 8, 2026)

Spend the day exploring Happo-One’s legendary Olympic slopes, featuring long, meticulously groomed runs, high-alpine terrain, and hidden powder stashes for advanced skiers.
