Whiteface Now Calling New Beginner Lift “Falcon,” Removing Previous “Express” Language

Last week, updates to Whiteface’s website revealed that its new Bear Den beginner area lift will now be called the Falcon Lift (once again, h/t to Liftblog for pointing this out). This comes weeks after the site temporarily showed the new lift with the “Owl Express” name. The new fixed-grip quad, which replaces the Bunny Hutch Triple, will have a loading carpet that allows for faster run speeds.

Our Take

When Whiteface’s new lift was set to be called the Owl Express, we wrote that the “Express” branding was misleading, as it wasn’t a true high-speed, detachable lift. It appears that Whiteface has taken note and made a last minute name change.
